The Gardner Christmas Chronicles
The Years in Review
Again this November, we attended the This Time Tomorrow Storyteller's Gala
at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. A great event for a great cause.
Meemo looked quite stunning at the First Look, the fundraising event the
night before the Auto Show opened at McCormick Place in Chicago.
And here's the view from the inside.

Here's the view to the lake at Laurie and Mike Klopfer's place in Florida.
It was a summer of construction on the Bark River in Delafield.
Meemo does a great job on her flower boxes.
And we love our Meemo!
In case there are any doubts, that really is sugar from
the gluten-free donuts at the brewery in Minneapolis.

Then, this summer, we did our best to recreate the photo with
that same saucer in Lana's back yard in Wakarusa, Indiana.
After years of encouragement from me, Meemo final got herself
a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. (Google 'em if you don't know)
On Marily's Florida trip, she and her sister, Laurie, stopped in at the Delanders, our former Delafield neighbors, where Dottie gave Laurie a lesson.
People queueing up for my presentation at AHR Expo at McCormick Place in January.
And finally, Meemo may be retired, but she still needs to
take a break on the kitchen floor after a hard day of cooking.
The three Mr. and Mrs. Gardners: Marily, Harry, Warren, Lauren, Carolee, and Larry,
married for 73 years, 39 years, and about 10 minutes at the time of this photo.
Meemo's new pergola makes a nice place for
evening cocktails and enjoying our back yard.

Proud of my boy!
In 1970, Dad, Lana, and I posed at Bass Lake with a "saucer"
that Dad made years before and that I had recently painted.
Along with everyone else in attendance, Lauren's mother,
Karen, and my sister, Lana, were very happy at the wedding.
